Gowanus' Satori, Now Enlightening Things from the Inside

New, 14 comments

This is Satori, a development whose name means "instant enlightenment" in Japanese about which we've previously written. The condo in the Robert Scarano-designed building are now on the market and there's some sort of debut party this weekend. (It's being marketed as being in Carroll Gardens; by contrast, the Toll Brothers development across the street and down the block would be in Gowanus.) These are full-sized shots of the building's interior finally showing the effect of all those small windows from the inside. The prices in the building, which is on Bond Street, a block from the always interesting Gowanus Canal, run from $470,000 for a studio up to $850K-$950K for 2BRs with the 34 condos ranging in size from 486 square feet to 1,216 square feet and featuring "floating stairs, soaring ceilings, hardwood floors and environmentally friendly windows with spectacular views of Brooklyn." Oh, Gowanus, how you've changed.
