Now that everyone knows The Plaza is a festering hell hole that only a fool would sink his fortune into (allegedly!), it might not be the best time for Tommy Hilfiger to try to unload his 18th and 19th floor duplex for $50 million. Especially when, per the listing from Corcoran's Deborah Grubman, the 6,000-square-foot spread is "delivered unfinished." Added costs aside, this combo job has an edge on the other Plaza problem children: it's the "dome apartment," meaning the buyer gets to possess one of The Plaza's most iconic architectural flourishes. Oh, and there's that private terrace overlooking Central Park, which will probably go a long way in impressing those comrades back in Moscow. The (proposed?) upper floor is seen above.
