It's not so much the rundown of new developments in Park Slope that entertains, as the flame bait with which the story starts: "GARGANTUAN strollers, hyper-vigilant parents, NIMBY-minded community boards - sometimes Brooklyn's Park Slope seems less a hip city neighborhood and more the outer-borough version of an upscale suburban cul-de-sac. And yet, there's something to be said for the charms of such a well-established neighborhood - the sort of place where the schools are good, the restaurants and bars are plentiful and you never have to go out of your way to find a dry cleaner or organic tomatoes." Yes, that's our Slope. [NYP]
