Anyone looking for a blow-up rat need go no further than Kent Avenue in Williamsburg. The one above was out today in front of 184 Kent, aka the Austin Nichols Warehouse, where a major renovation into an rental complex is underway. That rat, however, was just a block from another one that is trotted out at lunch time on a lot of days across the street from Northside Piers and draws dozens of union workers on their lunch breaks who stand around chanting and blowing whistles. The Northside rat calls it a day after lunch, however, while it appears the 184 Kent rat hangs around longer. Photogenic.
