Harlem Mystery Building Gets a Name: Windows on 123

New, 27 comments

Oh, how we love a mystery building! And though they become boring once the reveal finally happens, this new Harlem project is still leaving certain things to the imagination. Uptown Flavor has been wondering what's up with the construction at 123rd Street and Lenox Avenue since October?a building that looks to be a two-parter, boxing in some older townhouses caught in the middle. There wasn't a peep from the Above 96th crowd, but the new year brings new info: Uptown Flavor now points to a new teaser website for the development, ID'd as Windows on 123.

For now, the website merely features typical boasts ("Leave cramped floor plans and inadequate amenities in your most distant memories") and a sales office address of 117 West 123rd Street. The contact form lists a price range of $549,000 to $1.6 million on its units, sized 1-3BRs. Corcoran is handling the sales and marketing. Top on our list of questions: Isn't this just No. 22 Renwick meets the A Building? Minus the A Building's flashy red trim, of course.

Here's a construction shot from Uptown Flavor:
