As part of its new open-and-friendly management style down at ground zero, the Port Authority has issued its first quarterly report meant to highlight met construction milestones. Here's an update on the Freedom Tower: "Complete(d) the foundation work, which included pouring 15,000 cubic yards of the strongest concrete ever used in a New York City commercial office building, the equivalent of 60 miles of New York City sidewalk."
