37 Carroll Street in Red Hook (or what some like to call the Columbia St. Waterfront District) was once knowns as the "Famous Hanging Facade"—basically a brick facade without a building. But the owners "have certainly become busy little beavers over the past two months" even though the pace of work originally looked like a completion date around 2020. But, Dear God, and an intravenous Red Bull, it's actually been turned into a building. Bad market timing, but it only goes to show anything is possible. [Lost City]
