MTA boss Lee Sander was at a Crain's breakfast this morning, affording him the perfect opportunity to respond to today's report in the Observer that Related might be having second thoughts about this whole developing-the-West-Side-Rail-Yards thing. Sander did address the matter, offering the strong leadership and proactive solutions we've come to expect from the MTA: "I suspect that we would be able to deal with it, but it would not be pleasant, but that's not an outcome we're looking forward to."
