The Real Estate Board of New York has issued its own fourth-quarter market report, which states New York City home prices fell 10 percent when compared to last year. The average price of all properties was $669,000, while apartment prices averaged $796,000 (down 4%). Bloomberg adds that the steepest drop in prices came in one-to-three-family homes, which declined 13 percent to $548,000, and 55 closed sales at Tribeca's 101 Warren Street helped drive up the Manhattan co-op and condo average by 6%.
