Nick Sprayregen, the Tuck-it-Away Storage owner and chief opposition to Columbia's expansion into Manhattanville, has filed a lawsuit challenging the state's use of eminent domain. Sprayregen, one of two private landowners left in the 17-acre expansion zone, claims the area is not blighted (as is required by law in eminent domain cases) and the development is not intended for public use. His earlier suit, challenging the project's environmental review, was tossed in September. [TRE; previous]
