This week's top dish from Eater, Curbed's restaurant, bar, and nightlife blog...
1) Midtown West: Via seemingly innocuous press materials sent to Eater comes word that the bastion of all that is right with the world, 21 Club, has stopped enforcing its ties-mandatory policy in the dining room (above) for dinner. Cue the apocalypse. No, seriously. Cue it.
2) East Village: The restaurant-as-art-project meme known as Kurve may have finally been dealt its final one, with the appearance of an eviction notice on its facade today. Fun while it lasted, no?
3) Upper West Side: More grim tidings from the restaurant recession, as year-old Madeleine Mae appears to be down for the count. For the truly stout of spirit amongst us, here's the rundown on all of this week's casualties.
4) Hell's Kitchen: To finish, some potential good news. Blogger EV Grieve breaks word that beloved dive bar Holland Bar, closed since November, may reopen in as soon as two weeks. Drinks on us!
