A favorite Coney source pointed us to this picture of the iconic Astroland Rocket on a truck about to be hauled off to an as yet to be determined storage faciity. Our tipster writes that the possible final location for redeployment of the rocket has been narrowed down to two or three choices. It's unclear how many of them are in Coney Island, although we have been assured one of them is not Thor Equities Fifth Avenue headquarters. One sad possibility that had been previously mentioned was Pakistan.
