The Frankenstein tenement at 334 Grand Street on the Lower East Side, curiously dubbed Palazzo Grey, is following in the footsteps of its big unrelated brother?the one, the only, Chupi. The entire building had been previously listed at $13M and $11M. Now, from deep below Delancey Street, a tipster alerts us that "Manhattan's second most notorious new Palazzo" can be yours for just $9 million. The penthouse triplex is also on the market for $2.25M (and a hefty $3,590 in monthly carrying costs), and a one-bedroom palazzito was listed this month and then immediately slashed by $100K down to a new asking price of $1.25M. According to our BelDel tipster, a barbershop/brothel is just across the street, so that's one thing the other Palazzo can't offer (though we haven't inspected Schnabel's apartment).
