If you rented an apartment through the Citi Habitats office at Columbus Avenue and 82nd Street between 2006 and 2007, bad news: your finances are in the gutter. ABC 7 found customer bank statements, credit reports, tax returns and other sensitive documents strewn in the street Monday night. Citi Habitats issued a statement saying that office remodeling may have caused the documents to get thrown out without getting shredded. They sent out a cleaning crew, but hours later some documents were still fluttering around. Identity thieves: Bring a shovel. [ABC 7]
