A new survey put out by the Pew Research Center found that Denver, San Diego and Seattle are the top preferred metropolitan areas, while New York finished in the middle, between Washington and Dallas. And here's a very specific portrait of who wants to live here: "People are more likely to want to live in New York if they already live in a city, in the East, are black, college educated, make more than $100,000, have never been married, have no children, are liberal and don't regularly attend religious services."
