You didn't think our friends at the Standard hotel would go silently into the weekend, did you? Heck no, especially not after its Meatpacking District blood rival, the Hotel Gansevoort, got the last word in regarding sexy banging vs. sexy twister. The Standard's latest attention-grabber: they've launched a new calendar featuring employees dressed in high-school themed attire, like "The Nerd," "The Stoner," "The Prom Queens," "The Bullies," etc. It's on sale now for $20. Unfortunately the haracters are not all culled from the Standard New York, so burgeoning stalkers may have to head to Miami or L.A. to chase down their favorites. For Standard completists, there's also a behind-the-scenes video of the calender photo shoot. What, no cheesecake shots of André Balazs? He is the headmaster, after all.
