And now, the latest from Racked, covering shopping and retail from the sidewalks up.
1) Midtown West: The Disney Store is leaving Fifth Avenue, but dry your tears, because what it has planned next is so much better. The company plans to revamp Disney stores into an interactive experience, aided by Apple. At the store, "computer chips embedded in packaging will activate hidden features." Parents, we feel for you.
2) Soho: The details are now out on the new Isabel Marant boutique coming to Soho. It will be dropping at 55 Greene Street in February. What's more, there will be a little family reunion at the corner of Greene and Broome streets, since Marant's husband, Jérôme Dreyfuss, has leased 475 Broome Street next door.
3) Soho: In a throwback to the 1980s, billion-dollar company The Limited will be opening a pop-up shop in Soho tomorrow to, they say, "give New Yorkers some face time with the brand." They'll be bringing back some of their most popular '80s styles, too.
