Heights landlord Alfred Palmer's 280 Hicks Street estate did not sell, even to the one registered bidder who arrived with a check. Locals who visited the property (starting bid: $2 million) said it had damaged floors, walls, and roof. It's nice to know Palmer didn't treat his own property better than the ones he rented out.
