The City Planning Commission recently approved the downzoning of 80% of the residential areas in Sunset Park, easing residents' fears of overdevelopment. Sunset Park overdeveloped? Blame the neighbors: "Both Park Slope and Bay Ridge had experienced contextual rezoning that limited both the height and density of new construction, sending speculative developers into nearby Sunset Park."
