Despite some early name-calling, Harlem's tribal-themed Kalahari claims to be doing well on the sales front. According to a press release from the developer that came our way today, the building is 95 percent sold, with four closings scheduled for this month. The building's last 12 units have been released for sale, and everything that's still on the market has been PriceChopped.
The price of apartment A1107, the duplex penthouse with private terrace, has been Chopped from $1.6 million to $1.395 million. Apartment B1104, another duplex penthouse with terrace, is now $1.195 million, down from $1.28 million. Four-bedroom, three-bathroom unit A1004 is $1.145 million after debuting at $1.385 million. For these prices, buyers also get access to a parking garage with Zipcar, a music room, and an air purification system that pumps air from below 96th Street directly into your apartment.
