Another report has surfaced on yesterday's Jean Nouvel/MoMA Tower hearing before a City Council subcommittee, and there are some very interesting new details. Blogger Lee Rosenbaum writes that the 200' height reduction would take 16 stories off the top of the building and probably lead developer Hines to toss out the hotel portion of the tower. Oh, and as speculated, how about this bombshell: "Nouvel told me he was uncertain whether he would continue with the project if the tower was shortened to 1,050 feet." [CultureGrrl; previously]
