The ongoing redevelopment of the 16-acre World Trade Center site is a multi-billion-dollar megaproject that for better or worse has the attention of the entire world. And because of the plentiful delays and missteps over the years, not many kind words have been said about it recently. So to find some positive thinking about progress at the WTC site to display on its website, the Port Authority apparently had to cast its net pretty far and wide. Not that we don't love the attention! Congrats to Curbed commenter carlitony on the shout-out, which came out of this recent Comment of the Day. It may have been a bit of a backhanded compliment, but hey, baby steps.
