Höweler + Yoon Architecture and their partner Squared have the perfect idea for what to do with an old Filene's Basement site in downtown Boston: Build a temporary vertical, modular, algae bioreactor high-rise in its place! What the heck is that? No clue, but it's called the Eco-Pod and gas2.0 (where we go for all our biofuel news) described it as a big deal for "proponents of vertical urban farming and algae biofuels alike." Look, slimy!
