Curbed Hamptons: Hopeful Market Report, Pool Porn

New, 3 comments

The latest headlines from Curbed Hamptons, our outpost on the East End...

1) Corcoran released its East End market report for the third quarter, and there were some encouraging signs, including increased sales volume and a small increase in average home prices. One 'hood even saw a whopping 300% increase in homes sold.

2) The problem with Manhattan not having many private pools is that the privileged class can't outdo each other with privacy screens. There's just no point, lack of competition and all. Luckily that's not the case in Amagansett.

3) It's not all multimillion-dollar manses out in the Hamptons. Check out the eco-lovin' Water Mill Atelier along the Montauk Highway, with office space and rentals that can be had for $1,400/month.
