Sloane Mansion's Asking Price Now A Less Bonkers $39M

New, 2 comments

Sloane Mansion, the 18 East 68th Street townhouse with a boring backstory, first hit the market last year asking a jaw-dropping $64 million. There was talk of it beating sales records. But talk is cheap, and now so is the Sloane Mansion (er, relatively). It's back on the market for $39 million. The owners need to sell the 18,267-square-foot pad by the first quarter, their financial advisor tells the Observer. But the buyer "is going to rebuild the house from the inside," said the property's new broker, Leighton Candler -- which we think is brokerbabble for yeesh, don't look before you buy.
