Sitt Still Bringing Vegas to Coney

Mayor Bloomberg and developer Joe Sitt put on their happy faces today at a press conference announcing their peace treaty/Coney Island land deal, and The Real Deal got in a few words with the Sittster. What's he planning on doing with the acres he didn't sell to the city? "We have to redo all of our plans, but we will still have millions and millions of square feet of apartments and hotels and retail and restaurants and enclosed amusements. Yes, it will still have the Las Vegas component to it." Meanwhile, in other Coney Island redevelopment controversy news, Marty Markowitz is still battling locals over his potato chip-shaped seaside amphitheater. [Real Deal, NYP; previously]
