Eater Tastings: Pizza Joint Plans Rooftop Farm, More!

This week's top dish from Eater, Curbed's restaurant, bar, and nightlife blog...

1) Bushwick: Bushwick pizza joint Roberta's, praised for using locally grown products, has decided to take that one step further. Roberta's is now building a one-acre rooftop farm, Brooklyn Grange Farms, to augment their existing gardens.

2) Williamsburg: There's a new bar open on Grand Street, The Full Circle Bar. In addition to drinks, the bar is home to the First Ever National Brewskee Ball League. The Skeeball season starts in two weeks; signups are open now.

3) Everywhere: As a result of its $5 footlong promotion, Subway is on the verge of world domination. It has added 9,500 location in the last five years -- that's 40 stores a week -- and is set to overtake McDonald's in number of stores in early 2010.
