Foreign buyers coming to check out New York City real estate are old hat, but now Americans are the sought after foreign buyers...in the West Bank. New York Assemblyman Dov Hikind is taking a bus worth of wannabe homeowners to the West Bank and Jerusalem to scope out housing developments. Hikind's sales pitch: "Rather than buying second homes in Florida, people must consider buying in our historical homeland." We're not sure the Florida second home market is really thriving these days, but we suppose it's rhetorically catchy. [True/Slant]
