Vintage Brokerbabble Database Is Officially Awesomest Thing Ever

New, 3 comments

On the giant whiteboard on which we rank things that completely change our lives, we've just erased, well, everything in favor of Columbia University's New York Real Estate Brochures Collection, a database of vintage (c. 1920s-1970s) floorplans and brokerbabble that's infinitely more world-rocking than the project name suggests. Only Brooklyn's floorplans are online for now, but Manhattan's 1,740 buildings will be joining them in January. Take a gander through the gallery above to see the ad history of some current Brooklyn buildings.
