The less-than-glam commercial stretch of Franklin Avenue just got a pair of new yuppie-friendly cafés, and the owners have started trading insults on the Internet. There's a bit of tension over their credentials. One coffee shop, the Pulp and the Bean, is owned by a local lifer, while Breukelen Coffee House was opened by partners who moved to the 'hood just two years ago.
