Welcome back to Tuesday Townhouse: A look at a new-to-market townhouse that is rocking our world. Today: Harlem!
Last week's townhouse came with a museum; this week's was restored by someone who works in museums. Owner and professional preservationist Hugh Crean made this townhouse at 401 Manhattan Avenue the picture of Victorian zaniness it is today, one that is now asking $1.595 million. You can see his painstaking renovation work by tracking down the January 2006 issue of Old House interiors, or you can have a life and just check out the listing.
