Sorgente Group, the Italian investors that snapped up a majority stake in the Flatiron Building with an eye on turning it into a hotel, has set its sights on another NYC landmark: the Woolworth Building! Reports are that Sorgente is in talks to buy a 51 percent stake in the tower, and the CEO confirmed it, saying, "We are in talks on two or three properties in New York, of which I can name only one: the Woolworth Building."
