Historic Harlem Townhouse Asking Nearly $8 Million

New, 14 comments

Blogger Harlem Bespoke points us to this seven-bedroom, six-bathroom, nine-fireplace townhouse at 12 Mount Morris Park West, designed by James E. Ware in 1889. It has one existing garden off the kitchen and a potential second, 1,200-square-foot one on the roof, and if that's not enough outdoor space, the home looks out on Marcus Garvey Park. With an ask of $7.995 million, Harlem Bespoke thinks it may be the most expensive Harlem townhouse ever to hit the market. But an ask is just an ask -- will it get near what the seller's hoping?
