The centennial of the Bronx's Grand Concourse and Boulevard, the Champs-Elysees of its borough, has prompted the New York Times to wonder what the other boroughs' Champs-Elysees would be. Queens' boulevard is a might-have-been lost in zoning issues. Brooklyn has a couple of candidates, and Staten Island's Hylan Boulevard is the longest street in the city. But the winner is -- shocker -- Manhattan's Fifth Avenue. Thanks for playing, outer boroughs! [NYT]
