The Bedford Avenue bike lane, far less controversial than the Kent Avenue lane but equally as prone to sexy hipster cyclists and the Hassidic residents who tsk-tsk them, is getting dissected. Gothamist reports that the DOT is removing a 14-block section of the route in South Williamsburg, between Flushing and Division Avenues, "as part of ongoing bike network adjustments in the area." One biking advocacy group has already fired off an angry response to the news. Grab your unicycles, folks, this means war. [Gothamist]
