The last time we reported on 41-43 Bond Street, the limestone and glass palazzo by architect Steven Harris down in Noho, we were giddy at the prospect of this stalled project from Bond Street kingpin Adam Gordon finally getting off the ground. Well, now it's rising above the Belgian blocks of Bond, but Gordon is gone.
The new owners are DDG Partners, who have cobbled together the cash to make this 10-story, eight-unit condo project a reality. Their website crows over the acquisition, now calling it 41 Bond and claiming that the development "represents a culmination in the transition of the downtown block from former industrial and manufacturing uses to a luxury residential neighborhood." Gordon can watch the progress from his pricey perch across the way.
