Cash is King at Dev House

Blockbuster pre-war condo conversion the Devonshire House took a risk coming onto the market in such uncertain times for the luxury market, but Habitat magazine writes the Central Village building is doing pretty darn okay: "Of the 45 refurbished apartments in Devonshire House, 11 have sold for cash and five more are out for signature, according to the building's developer, Jenifer Steig of the Cheshire Group. Of the five out for signature, three buyers plan to pay with cash and two with bank mortgages." Just two mortgages out of 16 sold? At least now we know which building to loot. [Habitat; previously]
