The Germans are efficient, aren't they? After swooping in to save the stalled be@Schermerhorn condo building in Downtown Brooklyn last month, German-backed investment firm Jamestown Properties has issued a press release stating construction has resumed on the 246-unit building. The project was over 90% completed when work ground to a halt and buyers were given refunds due to the delays. The plan is now to complete the finishes and submit the paperwork to get the building's Temporary Certificate of Occupancy. The sales effort will relaunch in the spring, and there will be a whopping seven model residences?one penthouse and six on the 16th floor to show off every line in the building. Second time's a charm?
