Table 8's Exit, Pricing Night Life Real Estate on 21st Street, More!

This week's top dish from Eater, Curbed's restaurant, bar, and nightlife blog...

1) East Village: A rumor confirmed: chef Govind Armstrong is pulling out of the Table 8 restaurant at the Cooper Square Hotel, and he'll be taking the restaurant's name with him. An announcement of the restaurants takeover by another chef likely to come in 3...2...1.

2) Chelsea: Eater wonders how the closure of club Duvet -- where a security guard is accused of having assaulted and raped a customer -- will affect the resale value of the space. Nightlife real estate expert Steven Kamali says people will forget about the whole crime thing pretty quickly. The general "eh" attitude toward 21st Street nightlife is probably a bigger problem.

3) FiDi: The owners of the possible Financial District Grimaldi's now owe $62,797.91 in back rent (up from $25,000 in October). If they don't pay by the end of the month, it could mean eviction.
