The Daily News gives a three-page spread to Brooklyn Bridge Park today (five pages in virtual ink), going gaga over what is possibly the most important public space in the past century. Which is exactly how parks commish Adrian Benepe describes it. More hype: "Like something out of a movie set, there is a stone staircase, doubling as a seating area, leading up to a stage of granite staring right at the Manhattan skyline. Music superstars, according to Benepe, will fight to shoot the first videos there." [NYDN; previously]
