Two More New iPhone Apps For Buyers and Archinerds

New, 2 comments

It must be National iPhone App Month: in addition to the Corcoran iPhone app, which landed in the iTunes store yesterday, we've been alerted to two more newbies on the app scene.

1) Warburg on AroundMe: Brokerage Warburg has partnered with app AroundMe, which shows restaurants and stores near the iPhone user's GPSed location. Now you can also find real estate, provided there is something for sale by Warburg in the vicinity. See a street you like? Take instant gratification to a whole new level by moving there! Warning: there is not yet an app for contract signing.

2) Designnear: For those who prefer to look but not buy anything for more than $2.99, a former managing partner of TEN Arquitectos has developed Designnear, "the first sophisticated guide to New York City Contemporary Architecture for the iPhone and iPod touch." The app will point you to all the architecture by a particular architect in the city, so your phone can take you on a self-guided starchitecture tour, soothing audioguide voice not yet included.
