Forget the weather, this was wacky, offbeat Brooklyn Protest Weekend '09, so how did our rabble-rousers fair? Well, the snow and frigid temperatures made South Williamsburg's Orthodox-baiting topless Bedford Avenue bike lane rally a bust (pun intended!), so maybe God does take sides occasionally. Meanwhile, in Prospect Heights, Freddy's Bar broke out the "Chains of Justice" against Atlantic Yards eminent domain, but patrons "chained" themselves to the actual bar?near warmth and refills.
