Architect Declares Bankruptcy

New, 1 comment

We've yet to see the bankruptcy bug plaguing so many new developments spread to architecture firms, until now, that is. The Real Deal reports that the high-end firm H. Thomas O'Hara Architect?projects of late include Twenty9th Park Madison, 1055 Park Avenue and Soho's Mondrian hotel?filed for Chaper 11 protection in December but is still operating. Filings show debts of $4.3 million and assets of $1.2 million, about $1.1 million of which is money owed to the firm by clients. O'Hara told TRD the firm will pull through. [Real Deal]
