MIDTOWN?First Daffy's gave away a year's lease on a fancy West Village pad, then Victoria's Secret holed up some wannabe models in a FiDi penthouse, and now an America's Next Top Model runner-up is getting a gratis stay at 240 Central Park South. Corcoran teamed up with the Tyra Banks Show to reward the show's "Fan Favorite," Laura Sioux Kirkpatrick, with a six-month lease valued at $20,000. According to her bio Laura is a 19-year-old Kentuckyian, so we imagine she'll feel right at home in a stuffy Central Park South building. While you're at it, check out her crazy model portfolio. What the heck was happening on that show this season?! [CurbedWire Inbox]
QUEENS?Pilots are going to have to find another place to take flight attendants for a quickie. Note this item in the announcement of the Port Authority's preliminary 2010 budget: "Closing the Ramada Plaza Hotel at JFK International Airport because of declining aviation activity and a need for substantial renovation. The closing will save the agency $1 million per month." The hotel's sad website lives on, for now. [CurbedWire Inbox]
