In Typical NYC Fashion, Artist Sells Downtown Condo to Model

New, 3 comments

In a jam-packed edition of Gimme Shelter today (The Great One checking out 15 CPW! Stone Phillips sighting!) Jennifer Gould Keil brings word that artist Ryan McGinness and his Corcoran broker wife, Trish Goodwin, are selling their 1BR, 2BA condo at 354 Broome Street to Victoria's Secret model Maryna Linchuk for $1.1 million. Has this little corner of the city?where Soho, Nolita and what's left of Little Italy collide?really grown cool enough to attract Belarus-born supermodels? Da. Given the artist-owned pedigree and the fact that the 1,015-square-foot loft was once rented by Fiona Apple, we were hoping to spy something really wild, but sadly the listing photos make the place look a bit sterile. Oh well, maybe we can jazz up the floorplan a bit?
