But finally, a tipster reports, the copper panels that make up the building's skin are getting slapped on the building's facade. Isn't it odd that the Copper Building name belongs to something else? WILLIAMSBURG?Mayor Bloomberg and his posse may have launched the next phase of the McCarren Pool today, but some local ragamuffins aren't ready to say goodbye to the old pool quite yet.
