Blogger Bowery Boogie notices that there are now "Look" notices with directional arrows painted on the ground at the intersection of the Allen Street Mall. They're similar to the guidelines on the London sidewalks warning tourists which direction to look for traffic, but Bowery Boogie thinks they're more likely designed for New Yorkers with eyes only for their iPods and Blackberries. And he doesn't think that's much of a reason: "From our perspective, though, the action seems more an affront on the intelligence level of those in the neighborhood." [Bowery Boogie]
