The PriceChopper has gone visual and national in this Trulia map, which charts price reductions by county as of the beginning of the month. Over on his blog, Curbed graph guru Jonathan Miller offers some analysis for the more geographically challenged (no shame!). The region with the highest price cuts has gradually been shifting, and Alaska's looking like the next PriceChopper Hall of Fame inductee. Overall, listing prices are decreasing as sellers do a better job of finding the market, but the folks at Trulia predict there are more chops to come at the high end of the market in the beginning of 2010. In this neck of the woods, 25 percent of listings in New York state have seen price cuts, with an average chop of 12 percent.
