Last night, get-out-the-fun organization LVHRD sponsored its fifth annual ARCHDL, a contest in which two teams of architects are presented with a design challenge and then execute a creation on stage while people sip beers in their general vicinity. Last night's throwdown asked the teams—from firms Front Studio and Weiss/Manfredi—to construct a Coney Island-based spaceport to launch white-collar criminals to a moon prison. (No, really.) We'd tell you who won, but we really can't stop staring at that thing on the right.
