Eater Tastings: Old Homestead Makeover, McNally readies at Minetta, Swan Song for Gino's?

New, 4 comments

This week's top dish from Eater, Curbed's restaurant, bar, and nightlife blog...

1) Meatpacking District: Behold, above, the renovated second-floor library at legendary MePa steakhouse Old Homestead. The makeover also includes a new third-floor dining room and, brace, a 10-seat private dining room lined with photographs by Julian Schnabel.

2) West Village: Speaking of remakes, the plywood is down and the countdown to opening is on to the opening of Keith McNally's Minetta Tavern. Early word: this one's gonna be good.

3) Upper East Side: Oh dear, is the downturn about to claim as its next victim Gino's, the charmingly oldschool Lexington Avenue eatery? Not. Good.
